Goleuadau Pwmpen Calan Gaeaf | Calan Gaeaf Pumpkin Lights

Rhifyn arbennig Calan Gaeaf Special!

Wedi'i wneud â law yng Nghymru | Handmade in Wales

Traditionally, Nos Galan Gaeaf is the night before Calan Gaeaf (first day of winter) observed on 1af o Dachwedd (1st November).

Our ancestors believed that on Nos Galan Gaeaf, evil spirits would be able to visit from their world. People would avoid churchyards and any places where they thought spirits would gather.

Celebrate the season with a set of our Calan Gaeaf lights:

A string of 18 battery operated LED lights with acrylic pumpkins in a choice of two designs.

- Features 18 pumpkins spaced along a single string of 20 LED lights

- Pumpkins made of fluorescent orange acrylic

- Etched detailing - choose between Calan Gaeaf Hapus or our Welsh Dragon

- Size of pumpkin approx. 65mm x 45mm

- LED lights are battery operated (2 x AA not included)

Please note that the pumpkins are attached to the lights by specially designed clips. The lights have not been permanently fixed, to allow the user to adjust the direction of the shapes when hanging. They may move in transit, but they should not completely detach. Simply push the light back into place and align the pumpkin as desired.
